INFORMATION ON HOW TO REACH CHIOGGIA - SOTTOMARINA and ICRAM
Chioggia is linked by a coach service to Venice and Padua and by railway with Rovigo.
SITA coach: Padua - Sottomarina
The first coach is at 6.20 a.m. with departures at 20 and 50 minutes past the hour. The last coach is at 8.20 p.m. The journey lasts approximately 1 hour. The coach may be caught on the left-hand side as one comes out of the railway station. Tickets can be purchased inside the station.
To reach ICRAM, get off the coach at the end of the line in Sottomarina (Piazzale Europa), go left for 100 metres to the first of the town bus stops (yellow ACTV sign). The most convenient bus is the 3 (which stops just in front of the Vegetables Market and ICRAM), which runs roughly every hour (eg. 8.13, 9.13 a.m.) and takes about 12 minutes to reach ICRAM. Other lines (eg. 4 and 5) require you to get off at Brondolo in via P. Venturini and cross the Romea SS 309 trunk road on foot (total journey time about 15 minutes).
ACTV bus from Venice (Piazzale Roma) - Sottomarina
This bus runs at 25 and 55 minutes past the hour. Tickets may be purchased at the ACTV ticket office in Piazzale Roma, Venice.

Flights to and from Venice Marco Polo airport
Venice's "Marco Polo" airport is 12 km by land and 10 km by water from Venice and offers good connections by public transport to Venice (by land and water) and to the railway station of Mestre at the landward end of the causeway to Venice.
There are frequent connections with piazzale Roma in Venice where the bus to Chioggia may be caught.

Arriving by car
Leave the Romea SS 309 trunk road at Km.85.600 at the turning for Monselice-Cavarzere. After 50 metres, turn left and after 100 metres a building appears opposite with ICRAM (on the left), a branch of the Cassa di Risparmio di Venezia and the bar of the Chioggia Vegetables Market.
